#MyDanfoXperience - Stories From A Naija Pikin

Hello lovelies, I hope you had a splendid weekend. I'm so excited today because Nigeria is going to be 54 years old on Wednesday! Yipeeeeeee!!!! And so you know, I'm not rejoicing becuase Naija is adding another year to its years, Nahhhhh. I'm jubilating because it means a public holiday is around the corner, whoop! Whoop!!

Anyways back to the gist for today! So I have this amazing, wonderful, hilarious, witty absolutely brilliant friend. We met during our internship at The Sun Newspaper and we had that instant connection *LOL* Well she is one typical lasgidi babe and her experiences with boarding public transports is enough to make you laugh so hard, ditch your car and share in her #DanfoXperiences.

Before we get started, let me share one of her experiences:

My fave LagBusBuddies... So,I decided never to speak about my GidiBusExperiences...but mehn,I have been thru several Hilarious and not so Funny events this year, like never before. As an Apapa bred and butter pikin,I never had to use them buses until recently(not priding oh just saying)...so over the past weeks, I fell butt flat yakata in a Danfo around Osodi-Oke...it took d good commuters of lagos to pick pretty me up,after which I still paid d conductor oo... As if that wasn't enough, weeks later...A conductor grabbed me(Egbami oo) and almost threw me out of a moving vehicle because I didn't have #50 change...so a nice Baba stranger had to pay for me (Adupe Sir) But hey...I aint mad at all these events...it just helps pray Harder for my Private Jet,MyBugatti Veyron and 2017G-Wagon...#Everything is possible...

Check out more of her experiences on facebook and join her on an exciting journey as she takes you through her experiences. #MyDanfoXperience was born out of the numerous, hilarious, annoying, funny, not so funny experiences faced by my friend Bunmi Oyelese and her partner Bala Aliu. For clarity's sake, the term #Danfo used here represents buses, cabs, motorbikes, metro airplane, canoe e.t.c and the experiences may span across long or short trips wherever your are in the world.

If you've got exciting #DanfoXperiences and you want to share them with people, just send them to DanfoXperience@yahoo.com and your story will be featured on the facebook page. I most definitely will send mine in because my experience with these annoying bus drivers and conductors everyday no be here!!!!!

Wishing you all a blessed and fulfilled week. Happy Independence Day in Advance!!! Nigeria is getting better.
